track all costs associated with activity codes which we are then able to use for budgetary purposes and customized reports. We are able to accomplish this through various reports that we derive from our
daily entries. MaintStar reports such as the “Work Status report” and “Actual Work Reports” has assisted our department in gauging what time of year we may need additional staff and what
time of year we may need less staff. We are looking forward to using the Preventative Maintenance Calendar this upcoming year to show what activities need to be performed at certain times of year by certain
crews.

allows our department to electronically process our time sheets, as well as, having a tool to check the accuracy of daily entries.

A couple of years ago the County of Imperial was
looking into replacing the County’s antiquated fleet management program. Now that we are up and running (using the MaintStar System), I can say that we have had a tremendous amount of success. My
Account Clerk has stated, on more than one occasion, that maintaining the inventory is easier and more reliable than the old system. The Lead Mechanic likes the program because he can find a vehicle quickly
when he has recalls. It's as simple as entering the vehicle identification number (VIN). Also, the Work Order module gives him more control over the type of information entered for a specific
vehicle. As for myself, it has made my job easier because of the versatility of the different reports and the ease of access. Thank you for your support.

The City of Orange has entered over 15 months of
operational data into the MaintStar system. MaintStar has greatly reduced the time needed to secure and develop data for many types of reporting purposes. A recent MaintStar upgrade provided the City of Orange
with a powerful tool. We now have a Work Planning feature called Actual Work Reports, which allows us to research and compare specific features such as maintenance activities, locations, labor, equipment,
materials, work quantity, and costs.

I had a tight time frame and budget to get a Central
Maintenance facility up and running. We needed software that would support our operation from the start and not become the project. MaintStar perfectly fits that bill. We selected in October,
trained and installed the hardware and went live in January and never looked back. The software with the Sybase database just runs! What sold us were the screens, database fields, and user-defined fields
which has put us in control of customizing with no additional cost or delay. If you don't like the common reports, there's a full function Query and Report Generator. Couple this with
Bender's open philosophy of taking advantage of Windows API's, external outputs to common business apps and add-ons for Barcode, Palm, and GPS, it is a perfect package for municipalities.
