The City of Pleasanton California receives recognition for excellence in public service by Mayors Conference

"When one of the lead staffers from the National Mayors Conference visited the Public Works Department of Pleasanton California, we gave them a tour and presentation about our system using MaintStar.

 

They were so impressed they asked us to come to Washington and make a presentation to the annual conference.

 

It can be difficult to show technology remotely so we did the video instead.

 

To date they have shown the video at three national meetings and are planning more."

I wanted to take a moment, to let you know how much I appreciated your time, energy and effort in the week-long training I received last month.  It was one of the most productive, well-structured presentations I have ever attended.  I’ve begun evaluating the structures of the existing PM templates and when they will now appear on the Master Schedule.  Each day I use this tool seems to provide new ways to think about how we perform the tasks assigned.  I’ll say again what I mentioned to you on the phone ~ “If I had you as an instructor in school, I’d still be in the classroom!”
